Can Globetween be used for medical consultations?
No. Globetween is a communication aid for reception and administrative conversations — appointments, forms, directions, logistics. It is not a certified medical interpreter and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment decisions, informed consent, or emergencies.
What happens to patient messages afterwards?
Rooms are temporary: messages and translations are deleted automatically when the room expires or staff ends it, normally within 24 hours of expiry. Nothing is kept by default, and usage metering stores counts, never content.
Do patients need to install an app or create an account?
No. Patients scan the QR with their phone camera, choose their language in the browser, and type. No app, no sign-up, no profile left behind.
Can we keep a record of what reception told a patient?
Yes, optionally: the Business plan has owner-controlled transcripts with a 7, 30, or 90-day retention period. A notice is shown in the room whenever saving is on; with it off, nothing is stored.
