For hotels & hostels
A front desk that speaks every guest’s language.
Print one QR code and put it on the counter. Guests scan it and are chatting with your reception in their own language in seconds — check-ins, breakfast times, late arrivals, local tips. Your staff reads and replies in theirs.

The problem
Sound familiar?
The 11pm arrival
A tired guest, no shared language, and a check-in that becomes twenty minutes of pointing at a passport and a keyboard.
The stalled queue
One difficult conversation at the desk and every guest behind it is waiting. Season traffic makes it daily.
The half-understood complaint
A guest explains a problem, staff catches half of it, and the other half shows up later as a bad review.
How it works here
One poster. Every guest.
A Business desk is a permanent printed QR — the poster never changes, the rooms behind it refresh themselves.
- 01
Create a desk in Globetween and print the QR — once.
- 02
A guest scans it at the counter and picks their language.
- 03
They type in their language; your staff reads and replies in yours.
- 04
When a room expires, the next scan opens a fresh one automatically. Nothing to reprint, nothing to reset.
Business plan
Built for reception work
- Rooms hold up to 15 people and last up to 7 days
- 3 desks per account — reception, bar, concierge
- Saved transcripts (owner-controlled, 7–90 days) for complaint records
- Guests use their own phones — no app, no account, no hardware
Questions
Asked and answered.
Do hotel guests have to install anything?
No. Guests scan the printed QR with their phone camera, pick their language in the browser, and start typing. There is no app to download and no account to create.
What happens when the chat room behind the QR expires?
The next scan opens a fresh room automatically. The printed QR code is a permanent pointer — rooms rotate behind it, so the poster on your counter never changes.
Can we keep a record of guest conversations?
On the Business plan you can turn on saved transcripts per desk or per room, with a retention period you choose (7, 30, or 90 days). Guests see a notice whenever saving is on; with it off, messages delete automatically when the room expires.
Which languages can guests use?
Guests pick their own language from the list when they join — the major travel languages are covered, and each guest chooses independently, so one desk conversation can run in several languages at once.
